Anthony & Guitar Street

Issue Three

• Anthony attended the winter NAMM show in Anaheim where he met up with Nokie Edwards & Don Wilson (Ventures). The Ventures will be inducted in to the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame on March 12, 2008. He also spent some time with James Burton, Elvis guitarist, as well as many old friends from the music industry. He plans to attend the summer NAMM show in Nashville working with various guitar and amp manufacturers as well as performing in several booths. 

• Anthony is working with Mel Bay Publications in designing a program to promote their musical products. Mel Bay Productions is a major producer and distributor of books, sheet music and instructional DVDs, as well as other music products. This will be an exciting new approach to marketing Mel Bay products!

• Anthony is working on a recording project with Toronto based Blue Circle Audio. More details will be available as the project progresses!

• We are working on a DVD of “Ghost Riders” to be released in the near future and his next solo project due for release later this year.

• Anthony will be doing several upcoming Legends shows with Rod Stewart, Barry White, Tom Jones, Elvis, Gladys Knight and various other tribute artists!

• Anthony continues to work with Doug Church as his Musical Director, doing shows in South Bend, IN - Winston-Salem, NC. He will also be working with Gerry & Elaine Wesley in Marshfield, WI on February 8 & 9, for an Elvis – Patsy Cline tribute show and with Joe Tirrito on July 12, at the Lombard Cruise Nite.

• Guitar Street is performing at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen through March 21 for their popular Mardi Gras season where they celebrate with great food, great music and plenty of Mardi Gras beads and trinkets!

• Anthony is teaming up with Rick Lindy & the Wild Ones for performances at various venues during 2008. Rick Lindy has 2 CD projects that showcase not only his fabulous voice but his tremendous skills as a writer!
